Everbuild 102 Butyl Glazing Compound – Brown – 2kg Everbuild Butyl Glazing compound is semi setting putty-like compound created for use in bead or channel glazing where limited structural or thermal movement is present. In other words, Everbuild 102 is perfect for double glazed windows. Timber frame should be properly sealed with primer before application as Butyl Compound contains natural oils that will otherwise penetrate the structure. Painter metal frame windows do not require any additional treatment and Everbuild 102 can be applied straight away. Butyl Compound putty can be overpainted with an oil-based primer and gloss paint to achieve better performance. Butyl Compound is not suitable for plastic or PVC frame windows.
